We made it to Springfield, MO and remained overnight there. One of Kierstyn’s extremely preferred aspects of hotels is getting up early for the hotel breakfast!

We discovered a regional coffee bar to stop at prior to we headed on the roadway. (We love trying brand-new regional coffeehouse when taking a trip!)

And we likewise stopped at a crepe store that came extremely suggested to us.

The 2 crepes sufficed for everyone to share because they were so sweet and filling!

Our very first drop in Wichita? Braum’s for hamburgers and french fries!!

Our hotel has a little kitchen area in it and I made some casseroles for breakfast the next day at my household’s home as quickly as we got in. It advised me of cooking in our little basement home galley kitchen area.

I made Copycat Cracker Barrel Hashbrown Casserole.

And Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Casserole.

Working on a LEGO set at the hotel.

The sunset the next early morning was beautiful.

Of course we needed to strike up the hotel breakfast buffet very first thing in the early morning.

And then it was off to Grandma and Grandpa’s home for breakfast.

Look at the little feet on his jammies!!

One of the highlights of Christmas was getting to satisfy my new nephew (my bro’s very first boy!)

My Dad had a witch hunt for the kids to discover their presents this year, like typical.

Christmas early morning: headed to the hotel breakfast!

We presented Kierstyn to Kinder Joys on this journey!

Patiently waiting on Christmas presents!

Kierstyn wished to “help” everybody unwrap their presents.

Playing Exploding Kittens after presents.

After costs Christmas early morning with Jesse’s household, we headed over to my household’s home for Christmas lunch.
