New single-family house sales was up to a seasonally changed yearly rate of 591,000 in April, according to the U.S. Census Bureau and the Department of Housing and Urban Development. The April level is 16.6% listed below the modified March rate of 709,000 and is 26.9% listed below the April 2021 price quote of 809,000.
The average list prices of brand-new homes offered in April 2022 was $450,600. The typical list prices was $570,300.
At completion of April, the seasonally changed approximated supply at the present sales rate was at 9.0 months.
