OCC problems require fintech research study

The OCC released a call today for scholastic documents and policy-focused research study on the impacts of monetary innovation entities and nonbanks on banking and the marketplaces for loaning, deposit and payment services. Submissions are due by Aug. 21 and need to represent initial, unpublished research study.

Authors of chosen documents will be welcomed to provide to firm personnel and welcomed visitors at OCC head office on Nov. 7-8. The discussions will function as a platform for interested scholastic and regulative professionals to go over research study that checks out how the banking system—neighborhood banks in specific—utilizes innovation and reacts to the development of brand-new service providers of banking services.
