We are thrilled to present you to… Micah Timothy Paine. Born June 20, 2022 at 12:10 pm weighing 6 pounds. 14 oz. (our tiniest child) and 19 1/2 inches long.
Micah suggests “Who is like God?” The fertility center stated we weren’t even prospects for IVF, however God is not restricted by test outcomes or a medical professional’s medical diagnosis.
(Kierstyn’s middle name is Michaela which suggests the exact same thing. We never ever believed we’d have another biological kid after ten years of secondary infertility and being informed it was not a possibility. And now we have 2. We desired both of their names to be a testimony to God’s loyalty which He composes the very best stories.)
We selected his middle name, Timothy, with the desire that he would follow in the actions of Timothy in the Bible, “that from infancy you have known the sacred Scriptures, which are able to give you wisdom for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.” (2 Timothy 3:15)
His birth was my most convenient without a doubt… I entered to be caused, was currently dilated to 6 cm without remaining in labor, so my OB broke my water, and after that we just did an extremely low dosage of Pitocin. Active difficult contractions didn’t begin till around 11:30 am and there was at least a minute break in between them. I most likely just had 7 approximately actually difficult contractions — each that actually constructed on one another — prior to I was total. I pressed through 3 contractions and Micah were born at 12:10 pm and he wept a hearty cry practically right away.
It was a gorgeous, non-medicated, peaceful, unique experience — and it was the response to numerous, lots of prayers throughout the whole roller rollercoaster pregnancy. Kaitlynn got to be at the birth and the rest of the 4 brother or sisters got to turn up practically right away after he was born.
I take a look at Micah and my heart feels so filled with appreciation. His pregnancy was without a doubt my hardest, however he was every bit worth all of it.
Welcome to our household, sweet Micah. We currently like you more than words can reveal!

P.S. For those who inquired about our kid calling pattern: all 3 of our young boys have five-letter Biblical given names and three-syllable Biblical middle names. (Yes, D’s name that his mommy provided him follows the pattern, too, that we had long back selected! I can’t wait to share his complete name after he’s embraced!)
